Oct 2, 2002 : Internap Announces EBITDA Profitability
📅 - Intelligent Internet routing service provider Internap Network Services Corporation (Internap.com -> inap.com) announced on Tuesday that the company turned EBITDA profitable in September, a full quarter ahead of its previous guidance.
"EBITDA profitability is a key milestone for Internap," says Greg Peters, President and chief executive officer of Internap Network Services, "and demonstrates the viability of Internap's unique business model. This milestone places Internap on the very short list of EBITDA positive Internet network service providers." Internap expects an EBITDA loss of $1 million to $2 million for the third quarter of 2002, compared to its previous expectation of a loss in the range of $2 million to $4 million. The company expects to be EBITDA profitable for the fourth quarter, in accordance with its long-standing guidance. Internap says its guidance with the respect to revenue in the fourth quarter will remain unchanged.
