📅 October 22, 2002 - E-commerce outsourcing provider Digital River Inc. (digitalriver.com) announced on Tuesday that it has signed an agreement to provide complete e-commerce operations for secure content management solution developer Finjan Software (finjan.com).

As part of the agreement, Digital River has built the company's recently-launched e-commerce site, providing hosting and management, as well as transaction management, electronic software delivery, fraud prevention and customer service. Finjan's e-commerce site provides the first online purchasing options for the company's small to medium-sized enterprise clients, while continuing online services for its enterprise clients.
"With the large number of viruses, worms and code attacks circulating today, both enterprises and consumers need to have access to secure content management solutions like Finjan's products," says Shlomo Touboul, CEO of Finjan. "It was important for us to find an e-commerce provider that could enable us to service our SME clients and individual consumers. Digital River is able to help us meet that demand, as well as maintain our online distribution channel for our large enterprise customers. By selecting Digital River, we have expanded not only our distribution channels but also our revenue streams."
