Oct, 2002 : eBiz-Id Debuts Comodo-Powered SSL Service
📅 - Internet security specialist Comodo (comodogroup.com) announced last week that electronic security and identity specialist eBiz-Id (ebizid.com) has launched branded SSL and Web identity solutions using Comodo's "Powered Security" services.
Since its launch in 2002, eBiz-Id has established itself as an SSL reseller by providing SSL certificates from both Thawte and GeoTrust. Over the summer, the company switched to Comodo's InstantSSL brand security certificates. Comodo says eBiz-Id has now progressed to selling branded SSL and Web identity solutions provided through Comodo's Powered Security services.
As part of the new service launch, eBiz-Id will be selling its eBiz SSL Certificates at a considerable discount, offering one-year validated and supported certificates for $24.99 until December 31, 2002.
