📅 - E-commerce outsource provider Digital River (digitalriver.com) announced on Tuesday that it has expanded its ecommerce agreement with mobile software solution provider LapLink Inc. (laplink.com)
Through the expanded agreement, Digital River will host and manage transactions as well as providing digital fulfillment for a new online subscription service supporting sales of the recently-released LapLink Everywhere software solution. "Convenience continues to be one of the primary motivators for online shopping," says Jay Kerutis, Digital River's president of Software and Digital Commerce Services. "LapLink understands the importance of reaching its customers through multi-channel shopping experiences and alternative payment options, and we're pleased to help LapLink as it expands its e-commerce business." LapLink Everywhere offers remote access to PC files, Microsoft Outlook e-mail, calendars and contacts via a Web browser, Web phone or PDA, allowing users to work from home or the road.

RHCT, says Red Hat, continues the company's performance-based approach to certification, requiring candidates to experience a hands-on approach, working with the systems directly to demonstrate their capabilities. RHCT covers the skills specific to production technicians, a subset of the skills tested in the company's Red Hat Certified Engineer certification.
