Feb 10, 2003 : Allegiance Picks edocs for e-Billing

📅 - Customer self-service and e-billing software solution developer edocs Inc. (edocs.com) announced on Monday that Allegiance Telecom has chosen the company's eaSuite to enable its business customers to manage their online statements, invoices and other account-related data.

The edocs platform, says the company, is an important part of the customer portal strategy of Allegiance Telecom, a national facilities-based integrated communication provider (ICP) serving medium and small business customers. The company, says edocs, is one of the first ICPs in North America to deploy a comprehensive customer self-service and online account management capability.
Using the edocs solutions, says the company, Allegiance Telecom expects enhanced levels of customer satisfaction as clients self-manage their telecommunications bills using the Allegiance Invoice Manager. The company also expects to realize cost savings in customer care, billing and payment operations.
"Providing secure and reliable self-service access to account information and tasks is a vital part of better serving our customers and our business," said Chris MacFarland, chief technology officer for Allegiance Telecom. "With edocs' solution, our large and small business customers have the access and tools to serve themselves anytime and anywhere via the web. This provides our customers with better service while significantly reducing our support costs at the same time."
