📅 February 26, 2003 - DefenseWeb Technologies, Inc. (defenseweb.com) today announced Version 4.0 of its Xtendable Server. Xtendable Server 4.0 is a powerful, easy-to-use, Web development framework and a content management system designed for small-to-medium sized organizations that need to design, develop, and deploy complex Web applications.

Xtendable Server 4.0 is a Web application development framework that is powerful enough to solve most e-business problem, without the need to hire a programmer or significant technical expertise to use. In most cases, the software can be used by the average IT or MIS support person to develop a fairly complex Web application. However, if the project requires significant complexity, customization, or integration, an Xtendable Server can be modified and extended as necessary by a programmer to support any web application development requirement.
In an effort to significantly reduce integration costs and deployment time, Xtendable Server 4.0 is available as an integrated hardware and software appliance for installation behind a company's firewall or as a hosted application hosted and managed inside DefenseWeb's data centers. Xtendable Server 4.0 will be available in March.
