Apr 16, 2003 : Digital River Announces New Deals
📅 - E-commerce solutions provider Digital River (digitalriver.com) announced Tuesday an expansion of its agreement with Bionet Systems and the signing of a new agreement with TrademarkBots.
Bionet Systems is the maker of adult content filtering software NetNanny. Under the new terms, Digital River will be handling the entire European side of Bionet's e-commerce operations, including global order management, electronic and physical software delivery, customer service, fraud prevention and e-marketing services.
Having presided over Bionet's US operations for the last six years, Digital River president of software and digital commerce services Jay Kerutis believes the expansion was a natural progression. ?By building an online store that transacts in localized currencies and offers preferred payment options for international markets, we can help the company better cater to its global customer base, increase its world-wide presence and grow its software sales. We look forward to continuing our successful partnership with BioNet Systems and supporting its European and North American online businesses."
TrademarkBots is a specialty publisher of Web-based trademark search and monitoring applications. The new agreement will support a multi-phased e-commerce initiative that backs TrademarkBot's goal of rolling out its services to multiple vertical markets.
TrademarkBots' e-commerce site is password protected and serves as a single source for policing and auditing trademarks on the Internet. Because of these needs, ?we wanted to ensure that we could offer our customers a secure online environment for purchasing our reports," said Marcus P. Zillman,TrademarkBots' chairman and CEO. "Digital River has built a reputation for world-class e-commerce systems and services. We knew we could rely on the company's infrastructure and expertise to open an e-commerce channel for us while delivering a superior online experience for our customers.
With offices in the US and UK, Digital River is an e-commerce provider that serves over 34,000 businesses worldwide.
