(cisco.com) and EMC Corporation (emc.com) announced Tuesday they had reached a deal to develop and sell storage-area network products. EMC will develop storage applications and delivery services for Cisco's MDS 9000 product line of directors and fabric switches. Cisco will continue focusing on applications regarding security and traffic management. The MDS 9000 debuted last quarter.
