📅 May 27, 2003 - Cable & Wireless (cw.com) announced today that Win Bischoff, non-executive director and deputy chairman, is planning to retire from the board of directors after the annual general meeting on July 25. Bischoff has been a member of the board since 1991.

The company said it has appointed Graham Howe and Kasper Rorsted as non-executive directors.
Howe was most recently deputy chief executive officer and chief operating officer of Orange SA. Rorsted is senior vice-president and general manager, Europe, Middle East, and African for Hewlett-Packard.
Cable & Wireless is a global telecommunications company with customers in 80 countries.
