📅 June 23, 2003 - Internap (internap.com -> inap.com) announced today the launch of a new promotion for colocation customers seeking to transition their services from distressed providers. Under the terms, new customers will receive a guaranteed installation interval of five days, bundled high-performance IP connectivity and colocation solutions, and up to six months of service free of charge, depending on the length of contract signed.

The program is effective immediately and runs for ten weeks through to the end of August.
"Colocation is, and will remain, a core part of our business, along with the provisioning of high-performance IP connectivity services," said Dave Abrahamson, vice president of sales and marketing for Internap. "Literally thousands of customers today have been put in the painful position of needing a new 'home' for their Web sites and business portals; and, for many, this is an urgent requirement. We are looking to make their transition to a stable colocation environment as simple and painless as possible."
Based in Atlanta, Internap serves more than 350 colocation customers throughout facilities in the U.S., Japan and Europe.
