📅 June 24, 2003 - Parker Software announced Monday the release of WhosOn (whos-on.net) version 2.3, a Web server visitor monitoring and error reporting solution. WhosOn enables users to view and monitor site visitors in real time, watching them move from page to page.

The latest version of WhosOn features live visitor chat, allowing Web site visitors to chat with operators in real time.
"Most visitor chat solutions available today are hosted by third parties. What makes WhosOn different is that it's self hosted, so there are no expensive monthly fees - and the webmaster is free to implement it how he wants," said Stephen Parker, managing director of Parker Software Limited. "Customer queries can be answered much quicker using live chat than e-mail, so it helps to cut overall support costs."
WhosOn is Parker Software's flagship product. The company's headquarters are located in the United Kingdom.
