Sep, 2003 : Internap Wins Managed IP Services Contract
📅 - Internap (internap.com -> inap.com) announced today it will deliver managed IP services to Adaptec, Inc. (adaptec.com), a provider of storage solutions.
"Adaptec is a world-class company that demands the highest quality services on behalf of its customers and partners," said Dave Abrahamson, vice-president of sales and chief marketing officer at Internap. "Internap's portfolio of performance-driven IP services will continue to match Adaptec's high demands as the company continues to bring innovative storage solutions to market." Under the terms of the agreement, Internap will provide managed Web hosting services for Adaptec's corporate Web site in San Jose, California and Atlanta, Georgia. The services will include ethernet IP connectivity at each location, CDN (Content Delivery Networking) services for global content delivery downloading, traffic balancing, remote storage services for file server and database backup, and network and server monitoring. "Based on Internap's outstanding service to Adaptec, we are pleased to expand our working relationship and outsource our global web presence to them," said Tim Hanrahan, vice president of information services for Adaptec.
