Merchant Solutions, three new e-commerce packages that integrate e-commerce functionality with Yahoo! Web Hosting services (webhosting.yahoo.com -> smallbusiness.yahoo.com) in a single solution.
Each of the three packages offer differing levels of e-commerce functionality in conjunction with Web hosting, e-mail and domain name registration. The Merchant Starter package is priced at $39.95, the Merchant Standard package is priced at $99.95, and the Merchant Professional package is priced at $299.95. All three packages require a $50 setup fee and include phone support. "Yahoo! Merchant Solutions is the latest example of our ongoing commitment to provide small businesses with the services they need to reach new customers and increase sales," said Rich Riley, vice-president and general manager, Yahoo! Small Business. "In addition, with our new business center, all of our services are available in one central location, making it easier for small businesses to find and manage the tools they need to sell and market online." Yahoo! also said it is introducing a new business center, offering Yahoo! Small Business customers a range of online business solutions and an integrated management console for all core Yahoo! Small Business services. Yahoo! entered the Web hosting space in late 2002 with a focus on the small business market.
