😞 I owned the first server to be co-located at this provider, back in late 2007 when they were still "ClearanceRack". At one point, I had three servers (and, at one point, an APC PDU) here. They originally were renting space at TeleGlobe in Scarberia, from there they moved out to the sticks in Caledonia sometime around 2008, then they moved to an unattended Rogers datacentre in Hamilton's Stelco Tower. They did provide IPv6 and remote reset, but they had no tech on site. By 2012, Carat Networks (the rebranded "ClearanceRack") was sold to another provider, who closed the physical office and sent all incoming mail to a Mail Boxes Etc. drop box (The UPS Store #136, 140 King St E. Unit 2, Hamilton L8N 1B2). Their telephone number is an answering machine. That was approximately the point that these folks stopped cashing my cheques and, about halfway into each month, claimed I hadn't paid and shut my service down - three months in a row.
