😠 Do not, under any circumstances, use this webhost. I've been a customer of theirs for about 6 months. In that time, I've recommended them to countless people, and delivered new business to them to the tune of 15+ new customers, not counting all of the clients on my personal hosting account. About one month ago, this situation took a turn for the douche. I first learned of a miserable human being who works as a late night tech support guy for the company. Let's give him a psuedonym of "Scatt". With every email response from this person, I received nothing but rudeness, insults, and dismissiveness. I was trying to take the alternate route of using phone support to find someone who could help me, but I just kept calling at the wrong times and would ultimately have my contact re-routed to an email conversation with Mr. Scatt. 😠 A customer of mine has (had) a number of sites on a reseller account. All are now dead. Their server had file corruption, but the thing is, they SAY they have RAID 10 mirroring, so even if one server is corrupted, it should not be an issue. Also, they SAY they have remote backups, so why have they not yet restored? It has now been TWO DAYS!!!!!
And yes, Live Support is still offline, though they are answering the phone at least. I liked SharkSpace but this is inexcusable. On top of this, they even contacted one of the accounts on the reseller account directly ... asking them if they had a backup! Imagine! The sub-account should never have been contacted directly.
