😠 Terrible Deceitful Company
Gladly invoicing and collecting money for services not provided and refusing to refund for over 3 years

😠 Was the best, now the worst. How did they do it?
I've been hosting with Servergrove for 10 years. They guys sold the company a couple of years ago and it immediately became garbage. I didn't want to judge because it was a transition but it was a transition to cheap cookie cutter garbage with no reliability. As has been said here by others they are dishonest, unreliable, they cost us money and ruin our businesses.
They lie to you and ignore your issues, the hosting is constantly going down. So sad to but I've given up hoping they would get it together and fix it.
When they secretly migrated servers without telling anyone I lost all the content from my subdomains and after they explained that they had migrated their helpdesk ( more like call center ) employees denied that they had migrated servers. Just awful.
When I found them they were the answer to my prayers they were so good. Nobody was better in the business and I had used most of them.

😠 Fue una gran empresa. Hace más de 10 años que trabajo con ellos.
Era la solución perfecta para hostear proyectos de gran porte desarrollados con Symfony.
Hoy lamentablemente los sitios no paran de estar caídos, el soporte es pésimo. La famosas migraciones que todos comentan, y los servicios quedan sin funcionar incluso por semanas.

😠 Servergrove, the worst hosting ever!
Antes funcionaba bien, pero hace un mes mis webs se caen todos los días, les escribo para que lo arreglan y vuelven a funcionar, pero al día siguiente otra vez están caídas. Arruinan mi negocio, me hacen perder ventas, es una falta de respeta total, la peor empresa de hosting!

😠 This was a great company for us those who don't want all services managed by aws, but what a shame that for last couple of year specially their service is gone really down. The good support stuff keeps changing, and so I am guessing not a very strong management in place. I am using their service for last 10 years, I wouldn't complain here if they have not messed up so bad.
I used to have a Ubuntu server, I wanted an upgrade - they moved me to a new machine(!) CentOS, and nothing worked and all this happened without me knowing. Same as all others here - they just sent me a notice after the migration was done(!). They missed my SSL certificate, mail server down, redirected my http to https without me knowing etc. For last two weeks my mail server is down and I was planning to do big marketing this month.
I would seriously consider changing my hosting if I had the option to. If the management can not keep good staff they should quit and apologise for being that inconvenient.

😠 In April 2018 they shut down their Dublin based servers and relocated everything out of EU. Probably due to GDPR, but gave us very little notice, even though I'd been asking for 4 months what their compliance documents were going to be.
Today, all my sites are 503 after a supposedly "successful migration". They sent an email 10 days earlier giving notice, and explaining that they would be on contact to prepare a detailed migration plan. Then it just happened!
They migrated me onto a CentOS system where previously i was Ubuntu. All my sites are ubuntu except for this one now. None of the access permissions were brought over. They lost the apache conf files.
All SSL certs gone.
None of the firewall configurations copied.
At least the Database looks intact.
6 hours today with sporadic ticket help desk support and still dead sites.

😠 I was generally happy with ServerGrove for the time we were with them. However, I did notice that over time the control panel gradually stopped working. But support were helpful. But last week we got an email from ServerGrove saying that they had migrated us to a new server. They didn't warn us beforehand just told us "Congratulations the migration is complete". The next day I started getting worried calls from clients because their websites were down. I checked and ALL of our websites were offline. Also, all of our email accounts and all of the email accounts we managed for customers went offline! It turned out that ServerGrove had done an incompetent job with the migration. The server configuration was a complete mess and we had to move to a new hosting company. Our team had a stressful week migrating our site and our clients' sites to a new host.
ServerGrove refunded us for that month and basically didn't even apologies. They seemed not to care that they had caused a huge [read more...]

😠 Our business email has been down for almost one week and the Servergrove cannot back up and even don't tell me the ETA to fix. Unbelievable. The customer support keep telling me " we have been working on it. Thank you for your patient." No information what so ever. More than 20 company emails accounts are not able to use for one week. Don't use Servergrove. This is reported on Aug. 2017.
