😁 I recently moved my reseller hosting account from Asmallorange to MonsterMegs and I am so glad I did. ASmallOrange's service quality has been going downhill for a quite a long time, but to move a reseller account is not an easy task by any means. So I held off for quite some time, until I just could not take the poor service any longer.
Monstermegs really made the transition process a breeze. They migrated all 25 of my accounts within a few hours and after updating nameservers, everything was transitioned to their service by the following day. There were a few errors that happened due to the differences in service, but their staff took it upon themselves to resolve these errors without me even asking or being aware until they filled my in on the transfer ticket.
I have been with them now for 2 months and the service has been solid. Servers are fast, support is very friendly and knowledgeable, and they offer so many more options compared to ASO. I just wished I had made this [read more...]

Monstermegs is the best of the best in my opinion. I have been a web developer since 2003 and have worked with a wide variety of companies over these years. While some were ok and others were terrible, I have found Monstermegs to be everything I was looking for in a web host.
1. Their support is incredible. Responses within minutes, no matter what time of the day, the issue is resolved quickly, and they are very polite. They also take the time to explain the issue in detail, which is found with very few hosts.
2. Monstermegs has a boatload of the features. Including SSD, Litespeed w/ cache, backups, etc. Their hosting is just fast compared to past hosts I have used.
3. The way they handle service issues. Every web host is going to have a a server go down, a drive fail, and configuration issue, etc. It is all about how they handle it. 😁 I have been with Monstermegs now for around 3 years. We purchased their R-Basic plan back then and began our journey as a hosting reseller. When we started our hosting business, we were very green and had a lot of questions for their staff. I bet within the first month, we opened around 10-15 tickets with a load of annoying newbie questions. Their staff was very patient with us and answered each and every question we had. I am sure they were growing impatient with our rookie questions, but they always stayed professional and never complained once. The questions were answered completely and I feel they went above and beyond to answer some questions in great detail.
Fast forward 3 years and we have upgraded 3 time now. We are now on their R-Premium plan and have around 80 cpanel accounts. Our clients are extremely happy with the server performance and the that led to more and more customers for us.

😠 After being a customer of MonsterMegs for over 4 years, I made the decision to take my business elsewhere. For what it's worth, I never had any issues with their hosting services, my sites had zero downtime. If you ever reach out to support though and you're considered to be even the slightest inconvenience to their bottom line, know that their willingness to reasonably work with the customer (in this case, a loyal customer of multiple years) goes out the window. This is a competitive space with plenty of great players. I would encourage any customers in need of or in the process of reevaluating their web hosting provider to do their due diligence and weigh out their options; I've weighed mine and I decided to purchase hosting from the provider I purchased my domains from. I am now paying a fraction of the price, receive great customer service, all while retaining excellent uptime metrics.

Last week Ed submitted a ticket asking why his service was labeled as terminated and his hosting account was no longer active. After looking at his account we found that the account was over 30 days past due and as per our TOS, the service was terminated. This snippet below is from our Terms of Service:
"Accounts that are 30 days past due will be automatically deleted from our servers, if you wish to activate an account over 30 days past due, there will be a $25.00 fee to restore your account from backups (if available). 🗨 We are far from scammers and our reputation reflects that. You stated yourself that you ordered with random data and random it was. It was just jumbled letters and didn't even include a valid address. Sorry, but we don't accept those kind of orders and neither would any other reputable company.
As stated on our website at https://www.monstermegs.com/company/guarantees.php, we do not offer refunds on Bitcoin payments. It is not our choice, but limitations of the bitcoin merchant process.
This is also stated in our Terms of Service that you agreed to upon placing your order. Here is the direct statement:
"Due to the nature of cryptocurrency payment systems, no refunds at any point will be offered for cryptocurrency payments and will not qualify under our 30 Day Money Back Guarantee."
Maybe next time you should use valid data and you could avoid all these issues.

😁 I have not been a costumer for long but I tried a lot of webhosts recently and MonsterMegs was by far the best. The support is amazing! They answer so fast, sometimes within minutes, and they guarantee an answer within 2 hours. Very easy to use but still lots of customization and options. They were very helpful in setting everything up. And their prices are really low! Best of all: I could pay with bitcoins and be anonymous.
I guess I have to add something negative so you don't think MonsterMegs themselves are writing all these positive reviews: They promise a 30-day refund, but not for bitcoin! I think this was not clear on their homepage. Also their logo and webpage doesn't look very professional to be honest. Anyways! Best webhost I've ever tried!
