😠 Terrible tech support who were combative and the servers lagged horribly most of the time. When you went to tell them about it they blamed something on your end taking no accountability. Don't waste your time with them honestly.

😠 I was with these guys for 4 years and I have to say the quality of the servers was terrible and support was even worse. Whenever I reached out to them they would often blame something on your end just to get out of troubleshooting the real issue. It's nothing more than a money grab from my experience. I was with them for so long because I tend to be over loyal and wasn't aware of all the options out there other than them. I even spent a lot of money to try one of their dedicated servers for a month and it was worse than the standard servers with ping in the toilet. I wouldn't waste your time or money with them.

😠 My server crashed all of the time. GSK claimed their software/hardware is outdated and they were searching for alternatives. The service provided was so bad that the day I switched hosts, my server wouldn't even load. Customer service was usually helpful, sadly the actual service was garbage. Don't waste your time or money.

😁 They offer the best DDOS protection!
I've hosted my Rust server on GameServerKings for just over a year now and haven't had any issues with them! So far everything has been very robust and easy going, no complaints from my players either!
Their support team is amazing and always willing to help me resolve any issues I've had - I couldn't recommend them enough!

😠 Worst service ever
The service is terrible and no help from tech support, Lots of crashes and rubber banding when asked to fix the problems they tell you that you need to pay more so their service will work, if you pay more the service still sucks, go some where else to rent a server

😠 Tech support is awesome. Was always quick to respond. That's where the good news stops. Their site states that they have 24/7 uptime. What I experienced was far far from it. Random shut downs, bad servers and tons of lag. They had to move my server twice because of hardware issues on their end. And when asked what was to be done going forward to prevent the issue, I was basically told "oh well... it happens. Here, we'll give you an extra 14 days". I would advise you to look into a different hosting company.

😠 My friend rented a rust server from them and we have had nothing but problems with disconnections and rubber banding. The customer service has been terrible and rude. I would never recommend this company.

Our small game development company has been testing GSK's hosting services for a little over six months now. Here are some of our findings:
1. We utilized different server sizes, feature configurations and numbers of servers deployed for our testing purposes.
2. We tested server processing (calculation) performance levels, sustained server/network operations, alert signalling, support staff response and issue resolution timing.
Testing Notes:
1. While the customer support staff we interacted with all seemed very dedicated and willing to assist, their efforts were regularly stymied by the performance of the actual hosting service itself and delays in communications.
2. We observed high network latency at times (>36.8 ms average over several hours), but generally experienced good connectivity.

😠 After dealing with them to host a space engineers server, the server performed extremely poorly. After specifically requesting a cancellation of the service they closed my support ticket stating the service was running fine and that they would continue to bill me, Now two years later they've finally closed my account after billing me yet again for over 100$. They have perfected the art of scamming. DO NOT trust them!

Gsk is a brilliant hosting company. I was having issues in the past with other hosting services, such as lag and high latency times on my Minecraft server.
This is not an issue with gsk however. Their hardware is top notch and my players are very impressed with the new switch.

😁 Great service where you aren't treated like a customer but as a friend. I have been running minecraft servers for 5+ years now and can say I am thoroughly impressed with all aspects of gameserverkings. Their pricing is fair and their hardware is great. Support with them is also brilliant and I have no complains, they have helped me fix several issues related to minecraft and even unrelated issues concerning the general wellbeing of my server.
In my experience these guys go above and beyond every single time and I can wholeheartedly recommend them.

So i purchased a 3 month subscription. I tried to set up the server and im not gonna lie sucked at it and used their customer service chat function on their website. Long story short they gave me wrong info and after that probably took a little over an hour to fix my problem. They also never informed me what was going on unless i threatened to cancel the service, i also sent a ticket threw their support system to cancel my service the website stated it will take a few hours. That few hours turned into 19+ and the only reason i think they responded was because i posted my 1 star review on trustpilot. Rene the CEO was the person that finally contacted me. i wanted to cancel Rene did the typical o we'll give you a free month bs. I told Rene that i didnt want the service and to refund me. Rene said she would comply with my wishes and it would take a few days. Can you guess what i'm gonna say next? That few days turned into a full 8 day and i don't even [read more...]
