😃 Ich staunte nicht schlecht, als ich eine Bestellbestätigung von EDIS bekam, in der Stand: Vielen Dank für Ihren Auftrag für die Bestellung von Mokka für 42 EUR Jahr. Diese hatte ich gar nicht ausgeführt. Auf Nachfrage hieß es, dass mein bisherigen Paket für 12 EUR aus technischen gründen gekündigt wurde - vor Laufzeitende. Eine Kündigung zum ursprünglichen Laufzeitende war erst nach Kontakt mit Kontakt zum support möglich. Ein Höflichkeitspunkt für die funktionierende Technik.

Warum ist das Nachfolgeprodukt teurer: Weil im Preis die Kosten für Domain und SSL-Zertifikat bereits enthalten waren, welche zuvor separat in Rechnung gestellt wurden.

😠 Some Costumer have from EDIS have publish my personal Data at his Website without my allowance. I contract the EDIS Support many times that he should please remove my Data there. They dont follow and ignore my eMails. Very bad behavior. Looks like EDIS dont know what is Privacy Protection and dont follow the Privacy Law.

I had a useless KVM in Iceland that had the worst connectivity of any vps I ever ran. Then they moved it to Sweden and it was no better. I paid for the whole year and got no use out of it at all. They would not refund me one penny for this garbage. So basically they ripped me off.
There is no way I would recommend EDIS. For the price there are way better options out there. Save your money and time and look elsewhere.

My experience with edis is all but good. I would never ever recommend them to anyone!
Here is the story:
I ordered a VPS on 1st of Mars. It took them over 24h hours to deliver. I even had the time to send them a mail asking whats going on.
I didnt have the time to start using the vps due to other stuff coming up for me, but sometime around the 20th of Mars, i started using it.
I noticed immediate that my vps was rebooted frequently. Asking them, i sent them an email.
Example:

I host with them for over 5 years by now. Superfast support, very personal approach. they are taking time for the clients and try to understand the customers' needs. Minor downtimes so far. If you are looking for a hoster in Europe, edis would be my personal recommendation.

😞 This provider offered good products and excellent service in the past. Years ago. Today they offer average products you may also get for half of the price. We experienced big problems with our sites performance the last months. Especially when our sites were opened in foreign countries. Even in European ones. Most recently their MySQL service was constantly resulting in time-outs. It seems they are working on it, and performance increases again. Last but not least the customer service. In the beginning you could ask them everything and got a competent answer by the owner himself. Today you don't even get an answer. And never be late paying your invoices. You'll get really huge penalty payments within a few days delay. Afterwards letters from their lawyer asking for even more. And they turn off your website without any notice, but reactivation fees afterwards. In a nutshell: average products, bad price, worse service. It's a pity.
