allthe.domains is an independent UK domain registrar and web hosting provider operated by Domain Registrar Services Ltd. The allthe.domains brand was founded in 2018, while the legal company behind it was incorporated on September 28, 2012, originally as XDNET LTD. The business adopted the Domain Registrar Services Ltd name in July 2018.

Founder Daniel John Royce Rodgers, also known as Dan Rodgers, entered the hosting industry at the age of 16 while still in full-time education. He started XDnet and later gained extensive experience in domain registration, ICANN accreditation, hosting operations, and portfolio management before launching allthe.domains as an independent domain-focused business.

Domain registration is the company’s main area of expertise. More than 800 domain extensions are available, including common generic extensions, UK domains, international country-code domains, and specialist namespaces. This broad selection is particularly useful for customers registering extensions with local-presence requirements, document checks, or manual registry procedures.

The company is an accredited registrar with Nominet under the ALLTHEDOMAINS registrar tag. Transfers of .uk domains can normally complete within a few hours after the registrar tag is changed. Generic domain transfers require an authorization code and usually take several days, while some extensions, including .eu, can complete much faster.

Eligible domains include free WHOIS privacy protection, a mailbox, unlimited email forwarding, DNS management, transfer locking, and portfolio administration. Privacy availability depends on the rules of the individual registry, but it can be enabled during registration or later from the customer account.

The Basic plan is suitable only for a very small website because of its limited storage allowance. Startup and Pro provide a more practical balance for ordinary business websites, while Business is better suited to customers hosting several domains or larger email accounts.

Developer tools include selectable PHP versions, Git and SVN clients, custom error pages, database administration, file management, and free Let’s Encrypt SSL certificates. Existing websites can be transferred by the support team, including site files and databases. Most routine migrations can be completed within approximately 24 hours, although the number of included transfers depends on the hosting package.

The Managed WordPress service includes WordPress installation, initial configuration, software updates, performance optimization, security monitoring, malware scanning, caching, CDN integration, daily backups, and technical assistance.

WP Startup includes 10 GB of SSD storage for one WordPress website. WP Pro increases storage to 30 GB and adds a professional CDN, one migration, a WordPress audit, WP-CLI access on request, and priority support. WP Business includes 100 GB, two WordPress installations, two migrations, priority assistance, and e-commerce support.

Website migration on WP Startup costs £25, while WP Pro includes one migration and WP Business includes two. E-commerce support is available with WP Business. The managed service covers the maintenance and technical operation of WordPress but does not include custom development, web design, or content creation.

Full WordPress administrator access can be requested, although unrestricted access may reduce some of the protection and management benefits. The professional CDN includes a 50 GB monthly fair-use allowance, followed by an additional £5 charge for every extra 50 GB.

The security catalog includes domain-validated, organization-validated, extended-validation, wildcard, multi-domain, and code-signing certificates. Entry-level commercial SSL certificates start at approximately £9.99 per year, while wildcard, business-validation, and extended-validation certificates cost more according to their coverage and verification requirements.

Additional security services include daily malware monitoring, blacklist checks, vulnerability testing, PCI compliance scanning, trust seals, and a VPN service. The VPN supports Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS, permits up to five devices, uses 256-bit encryption, and provides access to servers in more than 40 countries.

A website builder also forms part of the broader service range, although the current storefront does not contain a clearly separated website-builder subscription. Email is included with domain registrations and hosting packages rather than sold as a distinct business email platform.

UK registered charities can receive the Basic hosting package free of charge. Larger packages, domain registrations, and SSL certificates may also qualify for nonprofit discounts after the organization has been verified.

The customer interface is straightforward and works well on desktop and mobile devices. Some promotional sections still contain expiry dates from 2020 and 2021, while several pandemic-period discount campaigns remain visible. The ordering platform continues to operate normally, but promotional prices and discount codes should always be confirmed during checkout.
