📅 - Lucent Technologies (lucent.com) today introduced Vital Service Quality Management and Navis Integrated Service Assurance, two new service assurance software solutions.
According to Lucent, Vital Service Quality Management allows service providers to proactively manage service quality for their customers and deliver on service level commitments.
"With VitalSQM service providers can offer custom tiered service level agreements that can be reliably measured and confirmed, reducing SLA penalties and enhancing customer satisfaction," said Deepak Kanwar, vice president of product management and marketing for the network operations software business unit at Lucent. "Service-centric management solutions effectively measure end-to-end service level compliance and prevent degradation of services to key customers. This can dramatically improve service provider competitiveness."
Navis Integrated Service Assurance integrates performance and fault management data, allowing providers to identify and resolve network infrastructure problems that impact customer service.
According to Lucent, combining the service management capability of VitalSQM with the network assurance aspects of Navis ISA, raises the ability of service providers to deliver quality services with lowered costs.
VitalSQM and Navis ISA are part of the Lucent Navis iOperations software portfolio, a comprehensive suite of multi-vendor, multi-technology operations support systems for high value wireless, wireline and enterprise services.
