📅 April 14, 2004 - The PW Registry Corporation (pwregistry.pw) said on Wednesday that it has introduced new tools for resellers designed to accelerate the rollout of the .pw top-level domain to individuals and consumer groups.

The .pw domain, says the company, stands for "personal web," and is intended for people and "communities of shared interests."
PW Registry Corporation has partnered with software developer LogicBoxes (logicboxes.com ) to offer an automated reseller solution, intended to ease the integration of .pw offerings into existing services. The company also launched an operational test and evaluation environment for resellers in preparation for the domain's official launch in June.
PW Registry says the LogicBoxes solution provides a platform for Internet service providers and Web hosting companies to offer .pw addresses to customers with little effort or upfront investment. The "registrar-in-a-box" solution includes complete branding and customization tools, infinite multi-level reseller capability and a suite of value-added services for ISPs and registrars.
"With our partnership with LogicBoxes, anyone can become a PW reseller with zero up front investment," said Tom Barrett, president of PW Registry. "More importantly, we have eliminated a fundamental disconnect between the ISP and domain name industries. ISPs offer monthly services while domain name registries offer yearly services. PW Registry is the Internet's first global domain to offer monthly registration terms. This will ease the bundling of PW addresses into monthly services, such as Internet access, mailbox hosting and Web site hosting."
