Aug 20, 2007 : Voxeo Expands Hosting Center

📅 August 20, 2007 - Hosted VoIP and interactive voice response systems provider Voxeo (voxeo.com) announced on Monday that it has deployed new hosting facilities and capabilities. The announcement occurred at the SpeechTEK 2007 (speechtek.com) conference in New York City.

Voxeo has opened a new hosting center in Las Vegas, Nevada while also upgrading its facilities in Atlanta, Georgia, Orlando, Florida and Slough, UK. Voxeo says it upgraded over $4 million in equipment to new, high-performance, low-voltage solutions from Cisco and Rackable Systems and with its recent expansion Voxeo believes it is both the most modern and one of the largest IVR hosting providers in the world.

Voxeo has also expanded its Evolution IVR hosting network connectivity from five voice carriers to fifteen, including AT&T, British Telecom, iBasis, Level 3, Global Crossing, Qwest, Verizon/MCI , VSNL/Teleglobe and XO. These voice carriers bring on-demand local and toll-free number availability in more than forty countries to Voxeo's IVR hosting customers, says the company.

"For the past two years, Voxeo has been uniquely positioned in the hosted IVR market as the only vendor providing 100 percent guaranteed uptime," says Daniel Hong, lead analyst of customer interaction technologies at Datamonitor. "By increasing its scale assets Voxeo has amplified its hosted IVR offering and ongoing commitment to reliability for its clients."
