Aug 21, 2007 : Data Center Summit Gains Sponsors
📅 - BroadGroup (broad-group.com), the researchers and producers of the Second Power and Cooling for Data Centres Summit, has announced on Tuesday that Fujitsu Siemens Computers (fujitsu-siemens.com) and Upsite Technologies (upsitetechnologies.com) are Gold and Silver sponsors respectively for the forthcoming event (datacentres.com/pac), which takes place in London, UK from October 4 to 7.
The annual forum, also sponsored by Rittal and Migration Solutions, and partnered by Carbon Clear, will provide a platform for strong dialogue between end user organizations, data center operators and solutions providers focused on the two most critical challenges confronting all players. This year's event will address the response being made by data centers to the growing mandate for green credentials, which most directly impact power and cooling issues.
The program will offer the latest information and expertise drawn from both North America and Europe industry insiders, who will discuss a wide range of topics that inform the power and cooling debate. Power dominates the agenda for all data centers, exploring what measures are available now to decrease both consumption and carbon emissions as well as increase cooling capacity.
"As the green agenda impacts corporate social responsibility, enterprise RFPs will place increasing emphasis on compliance with legislative stipulations," says Nicola Hayes, vice president of BroadGroup, "and we are sure this forum will contribute to, and influence, policy making, to achieve a common goal of reduced carbon emissions, successful power strategies and the premier showcase for emerging cooling technologies."
