📅 - Internet service provider Zen Internet (zen.co.uk) announced on Wednesday it has launched a variety of Linux-based Shared Web Hosting products.
Powered by the cPanel control panel, the new packages are affordable, simple to use and have a wide range of features and cPanel scripting that guides users through their Web site development. The Web hosting control panel system was designed with end users in mind, says Zen, whatever their technological expertise may be.
"As the market grows, we continue to review and update all of our current hosting plans and introduce new ones by embracing new technology and reviewing our customers? needs," says David Barber, product development manager at Zen Internet. "We give our hosting customers peace of mind as we can offer them a reliable high-performance platform to host upon."
The cPanel scripting technology used by Zen will guide users through different activities, from setting up photo galleries to adding shopping cart facilities, email account management and Web site backup.

📅 - Zen Internet Launches Colocation Service - UK Internet service provider Zen Internet (zen.co.uk) announced on Monday it has launched its new colocation service from its Rochdale, UK data center to meet customer demand for more data center space.
In its press release, Zen Internet - previously a provider of ISP services and dedicated and managed hosting - the new colocation servive will provide a "cost-effective way of securely hosting customers' mission critical IT infrastructure" by "providing reliable and fast Internet access for Internet or Intranet services."
The service provides both shared and dedicated rack options to suit varying requirements related to the size of installation.
