📅 - Dawnguard has launched its cloud security architecture platform, raised $3.3 million more in pre-seed funding and opened a New York office, giving the young company a public test of a difficult proposition: that enterprises can prevent more cloud risk by turning secure design into deployable infrastructure before systems reach production.
The company now says it has raised more than $6.3 million in total. Existing backer BNVT Capital returned for the new financing, joined by Curiosity VC in the Netherlands and eCAPITAL in Germany. Small round by late-stage cybersecurity standards. But the category Dawnguard is trying to enter is not small.
