📅 - BT Group and Verizon have agreed to merge their international enterprise units into a 50-50 joint venture serving multinational customers, creating a connectivity business with more than 3,000 clients, operations across over 180 countries and about $4 billion in combined annual revenue, while Verizon will pay BT a $625 million equalization payment.

📅 - Dawnguard Launches Cloud Security Platform with New Funds - Dawnguard has launched its cloud security architecture platform, raised $3.3 million more in pre-seed funding and opened a New York office, giving the young company a public test of a difficult proposition: that enterprises can prevent more cloud risk by turning secure design into deployable infrastructure before systems reach production.
