Data Stolen from Yahoo Includes Information from Government Employees

📅 - A report recently showed that more than 150,000 US government and military victims were included in the one billion people impacted by the Yahoo hack in 2013. The information taken includes email addresses, passwords, telephone numbers, birth dates, security questions, names and even back up email addresses.

This leak could allow foreign intelligence services to hack into the personal and work accounts of the military and government employees. It poses a risk to national security. The employees had trusted Yahoo with their official government accounts in case they were ever locked out of other accounts.

Some of the government accounts hacked include FBI agents, White House Staff, US congressmen, NSA officials, CIA members and many others. Some of the employees on the list hold high positions, as well.
