Sep, 2016 : Bandwidth Boost Plan could Raise EU GDP by $1 Trillion

📅 September 14, 2016 - New regulations have been proposed by European Commission to speed telecommunications networks in the EU and trigger investments. This could boost the economy by $1 trillion or 910 billion euros and great 1.3 million new jobs by 2025.

It's expected to cost 500 billion euros to get to the finish line of this project, which will be spread over the next decade. The funds will largely come from private sources.
