📅 - Emerson recently introduced a new app for those looking to manage a smaller data center, also known as a server closet. With many businesses adding more IT capacity to their locations, these smaller data centers have grown. The growth has caused Emerson to launch a new mobile app to allow remote management of these data centers.
The app is $600 and allows the user to monitor temperature, humidity and alarms in hundreds or even thousands of IT rooms. You can monitor the data centers directly from a smartphone and if the room is cooled by a Liebart unit, you get even more sophisticated monitoring capabilities.
