📅 - Data center automation software provider BladeLogic (bladelogic.com) announced on Thursday it has named John Gavin the company's chief financial officer. Gavin will be a member of the executive management team, and will be responsible for leading BladeLogic's financial operations on a worldwide basis.
Gavin has nearly 30 years of financial and operational management experience, including serving in the positions of CFO for three different publicly-held technology companies. Prior to joining BladeLogic, Gavin was the CFO for Internet services and hosting provider NaviSite.
Before NaviSite, Gavin was senior VP and CFO at Cambridge Technology Partners, where he managed all worldwide financial functions of the company including investor relations activities and internal information systems. Prior to joining CTP, Gavin spent 12 years at Data General, serving as director of corporate accounting and reporting, VP and treasurer, VP and corporate controller, and then CFO.
