📅 January 10, 2007 - Domain registrar 4Domains (4domains.com) announced on Tuesday it has reduced its domain name registration pricing to $6.95 per year, plus a 25-cent ICANN fee, for all new domain name registrations.

The domain registrar is also offering daily specials of 50 percent off new customer Web hosting accounts, which apply to the lifetimes of the accounts.

"These price changes reflect some of our fundamental changes to the business model, post acquisition integration, to more effectively compete in the current market place," says 4Domains CEO Chuck Steinberger. "We have a start up mentality and we will be trying to shake things up this New Year."

4Domains.com is a domain registrar that offers a range of services, including domains, Web hosting, VPS, reseller plans, virtual dedicated servers, Web design, e-commerce, Web site monitoring, Internet marketing and SEO.
