Nov 26, 2008 : Aventure Host Adds Partner Program

📅 November 26, 2008 - UK web hosting provider Aventure Host (aventurehost.com -> maxer.com) has launched a new partner program, which includes an advanced online partner portal and statistics monitoring features, letting web hosting customers and marketing professionals sell and advertise Aventure Host products in return for a per-sale commissions ranging from 10 to 20 percent.

According to a Wednesday announcement by Aventure Host, which hosts more than 15,000 websites in the UK and Ireland, new and current customers can apply to become a partner through its website.

"Every six months we ask our clients to complete a survey on our services, our staff, and to give us feedback on what we're doing well, and other areas that we need to focus more on going forward," Aventure Host managing director Richard Kennedy said in a statement. "Over the last 24 months a large number of our clients have requested an affiliate program to help generate profit from their websites."

Aventure Host, which has been in business since 2003, said its affiliate program has been developed with customers in mind.

"Taking this feedback over several surveys in the last couple of years, we've been able to pin point the actual needs of our clients and find out what they really wanted in an affiliate program, and we've developed our system around most of those suggestions."

While online partner portals have been successful with large web hosts like Verio (verio.com ) , Aventure Host's adoption is a sign that this model of interaction may work with smaller hosts. Recently revamped channel partner program and website, ViaVerio (viaverio.com -> hostinger.com), is made to be an online resource center, which also facilitates community interaction between partners.
