The Center was created by the American Institute of CPAs, BDO Seidman, Crowe Chizek and Company, Deloitte & Touche USA, Ernst &Young, Grant Thornton, KPMG, McGladrey & Pullen and PricewaterhouseCoopers, and includes members of all size firms that audit public companies. Deloitte purchased a fully managed hosting solution that includes supporting email, file sharing, Web site hosting and MS Office client servers.
"The Deloitte team came to us because of their need for a fully managed hosting solution as well as the primary resource to manage all aspects of their Windows enterprise," says John Holtz, senior systems administrator of Carpathia Hosting. "Working through Carpathia gives Deloitte the flexibility to rely on our us for their technology needs 24/7. Anything we can do from creating a highly secured wireless network to managing their Blackberry server provides a high level benefit for their organization."
Carpathia Hosting is also supplying the Center with a fully managed server environment in its secure facilities in Ashburn, Virginia, which provides a business continuity plan in the event of a disaster.
