This combination of CDC Games' platform and IBM's hardware together with Terremark's facilities and massive connectivity will provide CDC with the ideal managed infrastructure. As a result, CDC gamers will have a high performance multiplayer online gaming experience.

CDC Games provides online and mobile games to more than 120 million registered users. As the company expands its presence in the United States, IBM System x servers will enable CDC to provide end users with a robust gaming experience while reducing costs and power requirements.

"IBM offers us very reliable, competitively-priced products built on innovative energy-saving green initiatives that will help us become one of the premier publishers of online games in North America," says Jeff Longoria, president of CDC Games International, a unit of CDC Games. "With Terremark's advanced network topology, our gaming infrastructure will be located at the core of the North American Internet, which will help to deliver the best user experience for our gamers."

Last month, Latin Interactive Network announced it has selected Terremark to host its new Massively Multiplayer Online Gaming platform.
