Apr 17, 2007 : Attenda Joins Microsoft SaaS On-Ramp

📅 April 17, 2007 - Managed services provider Attenda (attenda.net) announced on Tuesday it has been selected by Microsoft to join its SaaS On-Ramp program, which is designed to assist independent software vendors to deliver their applications through software as a service. The SaaS On-Ramp Program launched in November 2006 and will run through April 2008.


Attenda is already assisting numerous ISVs in overcoming the commercial and technical challenges in adopting a SaaS model for the delivery of their software applications. Attenda's SaaS clients include BIW, CAPS Solutions, Simplex, Staffcare and Service Works Global.

"As an established Microsoft Certified Gold Partner and an experienced hosting provider for SaaS, the Microsoft On-Ramp program provides Attenda with a valuable commercial vehicle upon which to make SaaS an attractive ISV proposition."

Under the Microsoft SaaS On-Ramp program, ISVs will be able to take advantage of special introductory licensing pricing for Windows Standard Edition Processor Licenses and Microsoft SQL Standard Edition Processor Licenses. Participating vendors will receive all the benefits associated with Microsoft's Services Provider License Agreement, including access to the latest versions of Microsoft software and the ability to grant customer demos for 60 days.
