Sedo (sedo.co.uk), aleading European marketplace for trading pre-registered domain names and areseller of domain names in the primary market, will also provide itscustomers the opportunity to search for and buy New.net names from itsnetwork of sites, expanding the choice for domain name buyers in Spain,France, Germany and the UK.
ISPs around the world now provide access to New.net domain names through asimple network upgrade. New.net also distributes a small softwareapplication that provides access for those Internet users whose ISPs havenot yet upgraded their networks. Both methods work within the existingInternet infrastructure and enable Internet users worldwide to view the newdomain names.

The policy provides that any owner of a registered trademarkor service mark (having national effect and registered prior to Aug.1, 2001)that is an exact match to a domain or registration made during the initial30-day period may make a claim under the New.net Sunrise Policy to disputethe domain name registration. The owner must file its claim no later than 15days following the end of the 30-day period. If the trademark or servicemark owner prevails, he or she must register the domain name, and theoriginal registrant will get a refund of the $35.00 registration fee.
