ViewCast Introduces Affiliate Program for Streaming Service

📅 August 17, 2001 - ViewCast Corporation (viewcast.com), a video communications leader, introduced an affiliate program that enables Web-based businesses to extend the power of streaming technology to their customers from their site.

The ViewCast Online Affiliate Program makes audio and video streamingservices available to small and mid-size businesses which can then earn aportion of the streaming usage revenue from customers who create a ViewCastOnline EZStream or StreamStory account via the affiliate's link.
"This affiliate program is a proven technique for allowing companies toenhance their e-marketing strategies. Now any company that has a webpresence can allow their customers to take advantage of the power of audioand video streaming. The fact that revenue is generated back to theaffiliate is really icing on the cake," said John Caulfield, ViewCast Onlinepresident.
"Our new affiliate program enables ViewCast to offer both stand-alonesolutions and enhanced integration with our marketing and strategicpartners. ViewCast provides offerings of software, hardware and services tomake the process of streaming easier, quicker and ultimately less expensive,and this program is a nice introduction to how ViewCast can deliver thepower of streaming media with point-and-click ease," Caulfield added.
ViewCast Online currently features two services, EZStream and StreamStory.EZStream is a wizard-driven automated process that combines and simplifiesthe traditional content capture, encode, publication, and delivery steps ofgetting rich media available on the Web or in ad-mail campaigns. StreamStoryis a script production and publication service that lets customers get a200-word message produced in the ViewCast studios with professional speakersand made available for embedding on a Web page or ad-mail campaign.
For a limited time, affiliates can also take advantage of a specialOsprey/EZStream or Niagara EZStream bundle promotion. Any ViewCast OnlineAffiliate that signs a new customer up for the EZStream service and thecustomer submits a claim for either of these promotions will receive a $50credit good towards the purchase of any ViewCast Osprey or Systems products.
Any customer that purchases an Osprey card is eligible to receive a $50credit after they sign up for the EZStream service. If a customer purchasesa Niagara Streaming System, ViewCast Online will suspend the $49 monthlyapplication service fee for the EZStream service for 6 consecutive months.These promotions run through Aug. 31, 2001.
