📅 - Data security and compliance solutions provider Imperva (imperva.com) announced on Wednesday that it has named Rohit Gupta vice president of business development.
Gupta brings more than 10 years of experience in business development and sales to Imperva. He has managed strategic alliances as well as channel and OEM relationships on a worldwide basis for emerging and established technology vendors including Borland, Palamida, and Segue Software.

"Rohit's industry contacts, sales skills, and technical expertise will help Imperva take its partnership programs to the next level of development."
Rohit Gupta joins Imperva from software intellectual property management products developer Palamida, where he was the vice president of business development. Before Palamida, Gupta served as vice president of alliances at open application lifecycle management solutions provider Borland Software.
Imperva previously announced that its SecureSphere data security appliances were approved by the National Information Assurance Partnership for conformance to the Common Criteria Certification process.
