📅 October 2, 2001 - Digex (UK) Ltd. (digex.co.uk), a high-end managed hosting provider yesterday announced that Pilkington plc (pilkington.com), a leadingglass manufacturer, has selected Digex to host its Web sites.

Digex is hosting three of Pilkington's Web needs, including their mainpilkington.com site, which offers customers a wealth of information aboutthe company, ranging from how glass is made, environmental policies andcareers, through to investor relations. Digex are also hosting a Pilkingtonpassword protected business-to-business site which enables customers toplace their orders online, and a new training site, recently developed byPilkington for their employees.
