📅 April 25, 2007 - European Web hosting provider Netcetera (netcetera.im) reported that it will be showcasing the tax efficiencies of offshore Web hosting at UK B2B Internet event Internet World 2007 next week in London, England.

The only offshore Web host in attendance, Netcetera will demonstrate the advantages of hosting on the Isle of Man through a casino-themed booth located at stand W502.

"Companies worldwide who trade online could be saving up to 47.5 percent total tax on profits by hosting on the Isle of Man and the benefits to shareholders could be significantly more," says Peter Skelton, managing director of Netcetera Limited. "At Internet World 2007, our aim is to ensure Internet-based companies have the crucial information and tools they need to realize the benefits of hosting offshore."

The Isle of Man government, says Netcetera, is holding a seminar on tax efficient hosting as part of the conference at 11:00 on May 1. The session will explore the key considerations in choosing the best physical location for an e-business. It will include a discussion of the UK's new Remote Gaming Duty and how it will impact the online gambling and e-gaming industries.
