📅 December 12, 2001 - RackMy.com, a managed Web hosting solution provider, has introduced a new portal for clients to monitor their bandwidth usage, view network utilization charts, view customer information, and receive announcements.

The portal, at manage.rackmy.com, is customized to a member's RackMy.com account, network usage levels and support needs. Through the portal, customers can also submit a support ticket for faster response. At the custom portal entrance, users can view important announcements about RackMy.com and receive information about the latest services.
The portal lets customers check their network usage with charts that showhow much bandwidth their server is using. Customers can also view theirbandwidth usage by the day, week, month or year. Statistics on bandwidth areupdated daily.
"This new portal is an idea whose time is overdue," said Paul Klein ofRackMy.com. "We've been hearing from our customers that this is vitalinformation for their business. We wanted to make it easy for them to get it- and manage it."
RackMy.com also offers co-location and advanced Windows managed hostsolutions for companies that outsource their Internet hosting needs. "We canmanage our servers from any Web browser around the world." said BarbaraO'Neal, CTO of Centric Web. "We can also monitor our bandwidth usage via theWeb interface."
