Host Europe Announces Release Of 123-reg Domain Tracker Service

📅 April 2, 2002 - Host Europe PLC, a Germany-based hosting provider, today unveiled its 123-reg.co.uk Domain Watcher service. Using 123-reg, users can track and register any .com, .net or .org domain that is already registered, as soon as it becomes available.

Research has shown that of the 30 million .com, .org and .net domain names registered across the world only 10 percent are actively used. Many domains aren?t re-registered once they expire.
?Domain names are potentially vital for business, but the time involved in manually checking the availability of a particular domain would be hugely impractical,? said Jonathan Brealey, Sales and Marketing Director.
