Jul, 2002 : ScanAlert, Vortech Announce Security Deal

📅 July 26, 2002 - Web site security verification technology provider ScanAlert (scanalert.com) announced on Thursday that it has formed an agreement with privately-held hosting provider Vortech Hosting (VortechHosting.com -> hostinger.com) to make its real-time security verification service available to Vortech customers.

As part of Vortech's suite of hosting services, says ScanAlert, the security services will allow customers to maintain heightened security against hackers and verify that security to Web site visitors.
"Verified Secure Web Hosting is an exciting new service that will bring real benefits to our customers," says Brad Pugh, president of Vortech Hosting, Inc. "Security concerns and the protection of customer data from hackers remains the number-one issue slowing the growth of online business. Security verification will allow our customers to build trust with their online customers and business partners."
Vortech says it is focused on providing the security services its customers need to succeed in the high-risk Internet business. The company says its customers will gain a competitive advantage from the third-party verification and daily security testing provided by ScanAlert.
