📅 December 16, 2002 - Advanced hosting and content delivery service provider Conxion Corporation (conxion.com) announced on Monday that it has formed an alliance with global communications service provider Infonet Services Corporation (infonet.com) to offer Conxion's managed Web hosting services to Infonet's clients.

Infonet will take advantage of Conxion's broad range of managed services to offer a comprehensive solution, optimizing the integration between enterprises' networks and Internet presences. Conxion's services enable Infonet to design and outsource complex hosting and e-business designs into a reliable and predictable infrastructure, making Infonet an effective single-source communication service provider.
"Infonet is working with our clients to create, manage and plan for future business initiatives that are vital to our client's profitability and long-term success. Choosing Conxion to provide the hosting services enables us to focus on adding value through the consulting and design of the entire solution," says Roel Holtland, Infonet vice president of business application services. "Infonet will use Conxion's professional IT staff in the United States and United Kingdom to manage and maintain the servers, operating systems, Internet connectivity and security."

📅 Dec 13, 2002 - NaviSite Announces Debt Restructuring - Managed hosting service provider NaviSite Inc. (NaviSite.com ) announced on Thursday that it has undergone debt restructuring efforts with its majority owner ClearBlue Technologies. As part of the transaction, says NaviSite, CBT has exercised its right to convert $20 million of its $65 million aggregate principle amount of convertible debt into approximately 77 million shares of NaviSite equity at 26 cents per share. Following the transaction, CBT plans to distribute its NaviSite equity to its shareholders. 📅 Dec 17, 2002 - NaviSite Announces First Quarter Results - Managed hosting service provider NaviSite Inc. (NaviSite.com ) announced on Monday that it has released its fiscal year 2003 first quarter results for the period ending October 31, 2002. Revenues for the quarter, says NaviSite, were $8.2 million, compared to revenues of $9.8 million for the previous quarter. However, during the first quarter, the company posted a net loss of $9.6 million, compared to a net loss of $48.5 million for the previous quarter. EBITDA loss for the quarter was $4.1 million compared with a loss of $40.2 million in the previous quarter. Included in the company's first quarter EBITDA was a $1 million expense related to restructuring efforts.
