📅 July 24, 2003 - UltraDNS Corporation (ultradns.com), a managed DNS service provider, announced today the opening of a new office in Reston, Virginia.

The company said it chose the Washington, DC metropolitan area in order to better acquire and support agencies within the federal government.
"With over 7,500 customers, the expansion to the East Coast is a result of the increased demand for UltraDNS services worldwide," said Ben Petro, president and CEO of UltraDNS. "This growth will enable the company to further propagate robust and reliable DNS technology to our customer base and provide secure infrastructure services to the federal government."
Members of the UltraDNS operations, sales and finance divisions will operate from the Virginia office.
"Our Northern Virginia presence provides increased access to networking customers and immerses UltraDNS in a rich competitive environment," said David Novosad, vice-president of operations at UltraDNS. "The company will continue to broaden its footprint and services to capitalize on new business opportunities."
UltraDNS is a managed services provider with over five million domains currently under its management.
