Santrex is a reseller company that does not have the proper knowledge base to run a hosting company. Our School's new VPS at Santrex was experiencing major connectivity issues within the first 2 months of service and this went on for over a month. Santrex said they were trying to fix the problem, they claimed the connectivity problems were due to abusive users on their network but the problem never got resolved...
We repeatedly requested that they move the VPS to another server node on their network which they said they would do but expected us to move our data manually! Then when they said they would do the data migration themselves they procrastinated and never actually moved the VPS.
After weeks of going back and forth with these guys on a support ticket we finally had enough and switched to a different web host who was able to give us a reliable VPS on better hardware for 1/2 the price!
AVOID SANTREX AT ALL COSTS! DON'T BE FOOLED BY THEIR SEEMINGLY LOW PRICES AND PRETTY NEW WEBSITE!
