😞 I have been called in to assist with a customer that has all of its emails, and web sites (going on for about 70), with this company.
This has to be one of the cheapest web hosting suppliers around....BUT:
1. Customer support in the UK has to qualify as non-existant. Although they do work through problems left on their answer phone, they do not do it particularly fast, and we have never had feedback provided.
2. I have yet to have an email responded to.
3. There are fundamental problems with their email configuration. (All mails stored in a single file...nothing wrong with this...but combine it with a 'hard' quota, and you get a locked email account, and bounced emails if you reach the quota limit.
4. Problematic SMTP server, meaning that it is extremely disruptive to use. We now do not use their system for sending emails. I guess that it is one way of reducing the workload on their server.

😞 Bronze Hosting package. Webconexion has been down 4 times this year, for over 48 hours. The second time was due to a fire in some server centre in California, so perhaps they could be excused, but I had to write to them to get an explanation. Lack of explanation or contact is standard, as they never post any reasons or apologies on any boards/sites, and no offer of compensation.
They used to be really good, so I guess it's about infrastructure development and investment. Anyway, now they seem to be failing and contacting them is pretty impossible. I have read some rumours about them going bust, but, I have no evidence.
