😠 Was OK until I needed support then... nothing.
Last week I had to deal with a server hack and a ransomware attack on a VPS I have at VPSVille. Annoying but the data held on the server is fairly static and I have a backup on their system so it should just be a matter of restoring it.
Unfortunately when I tried to restore the backup nothing happened. I can see the backup there but when I start a restore nothing happens.
Ok, next step is to contact support... contact support... contact support... uh oh.
After 4 days of trying not even an acknowledgement from their support department.

Don't get me wrong, when everything ran fine it was just great. I mean not outstanding... cost was a little high but speeds were fine. However as soon as I actually needed something from them... nothing.

😠 VPSVILLE - hosting doesnt get much worse!
I took over an internet forum which is hosting with VPS. Their cost of £34.50 per month is quite high.
In return we get a site which goes down regularly. Usually nothing is done by VPSVille until a support ticket is raised (they dont check their own servers!) and then the problem is recitified eventually.
Currently my site is down. VPSVille reports the server is Shut Down. Rebooting or starting it has no effect, it stays shut down. They are 'investigating'. this is fairly typical of the way things go - site falls down, nothing happens, client complains, VPSVille eventually fix it.
BUT - there is never any courtesy. No apology, no responsibility and never, ever an offer of a refund under their '100% Uptime Guarantee' which is nothing but a joke.
I notice that VPSVille often reply to poor reviews and often showing the attitude and unhelpfulmess I've mentioned.

I tried VPSVille and raised a ticket to cancel my account the next day (Oct 8th) and have heard nothing to date.
I've sent 2 follow up emails and have heard nothing since.
They're 30 day guarantee money refunded is worthless.
Don't trust this service/company.
I should have known better,as they have no information about who they are, online!

😠 VPSVille Support SUCKS
The price looks great for what you get, but if something ever goes wrong, you wont get timely support and you wont get qualified support!
What you will get is rude support staff incapable of answering your questions. Then when you take it to an online hosting forum where they frequent they will terminate your account claiming you are slandering them.
STAY CLEAR of VPSVille!

If you need a relable server with support, then I cannot stress enough to stay away from these cowboys. Their support (oh did I say support) is non existent despite promoting the 24/7 great support they provide. They answer when they can be bothered and even then its lame, and most times they dont even resolve the issue and at best cause another problem. Ive been with them 3 years and about to move to a UK company.
Really, stay away from this cowboy outfit if you have mission critical web services.

😠 VPSVille are the poorest VPS company I've had the pleasure of hosting with. They lack the sufficient infrastructure to provide your site with guaranteed uptime. I was told that my VPS data was lost because somebody broke into the servers and deleted all the data. I'm not sure whether was a coverup or not, I do know that multiple people lost their accounts.
I cannot stress enough how bad this company is. Look at Slicehost or Linode instead.

I purchased a VPS from Vpsville.com in the first 15days lxadmin updated which caused my admin page to not work, this took their slow support team long to fix.
in total i have like 4 different problems. Later on my vps went down from using over 10GB...when my 2 websites total @ 300MB they tryed 2 make me buy a better package.
I asked for a full refund since all that downtime cost me money and i only got a partial refund.
After all of that he said that linking to movie sites are not allowed, then he DELETED MY VPS no warning nothing. Good thing i had backups.
I told them i was going to leave a bad review, he decided to go on McAfee SiteAdvisor and report my website's are fraud and scam websites!!

😁 A good place with great service. We were using dedicated servers but decided to try out VPS with these guys. We've saved money and a lot of stress, their uptime is excellent (Peer1) and I don't know how they manage to stay so cheap. VPSVille is only 60ms away from Vancouver!
We tried hosting our own equipment with Peer1 a while back and they quoted us a $100/mbit! These guys are a gem.
