The company began with KVM virtual servers in Frankfurt and later expanded into shared hosting, reseller hosting and several specialized VPS use cases. Its current scale includes more than 1,279 customers, over 51 resellers and around 200 active servers.

Luxvps remains strongly centered on virtual infrastructure rather than becoming a broad managed-services provider. Its portfolio covers Xeon KVM VPS, Ryzen KVM VPS, EPYC KVM VPS, Shared Web Hosting, Reseller Hosting, Email Server VPS, Domain Registration, Storage VPS, Dedicated Servers, application hosting, game-server VPS and server security. A separate white-label server reseller program with API access is available for hosting businesses. Most compute services are self-managed and provide full root access, making them best suited to customers comfortable administering Linux or Windows servers themselves.

The main infrastructure is concentrated in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, where Luxvps operates its own server hardware inside Equinix FR5, FR7 and FR8 facilities. The company moved its production environment to Equinix FR7 during 2024 and has since expanded across the three Frankfurt locations.

The Xeon KVM Rootserver range is the inexpensive entry point. The Ryzen KVM range uses AMD Ryzen 9 5900X processors and is particularly suitable for workloads that depend on high single-thread performance, including game servers and latency-sensitive applications. Ryzen Starter Gen 3 begins at €4.95 per month, while larger tiers scale to 32 GB RAM, 250 GB NVMe RAID-1 storage and 40 TB monthly traffic. The newer EPYC KVM range uses dual AMD EPYC 7763 systems. Virtual servers support Ubuntu, Debian, AlmaLinux, CentOS, Fedora, Arch Linux and Windows Server templates, while custom ISO installation is also possible. Docker, containers, custom kernels, VPN software and WireGuard are suitable workloads. Nested virtualization is disabled, so these VPS plans are not appropriate for customers intending to run KVM, Proxmox, VMware or Hyper-V virtual machines inside their Luxvps server.

The Shared Web Hosting platform uses AMD EPYC 7443P hardware, NVMe storage and Plesk. Plans start at €2.95 per month with 10 GB storage, support for 20 domains and 10 email accounts. Larger packages increase storage to 50 GB and remove the domain and email-account limits. Free Let's Encrypt SSL, one-click application installation and DDoS protection are included. Traffic is unmetered, although the hosting policy applies a general fair-use guideline of up to 25 GB per day per shared account unless the individual package specifies otherwise.

Plesk Reseller Hosting starts at €5.95 per month. The entry package provides 20 GB storage and supports up to 50 customer accounts, while the larger €10.95 package includes 55 GB storage and unlimited customer accounts. All reseller packages allow unlimited domains and use the same Frankfurt EPYC-based hosting infrastructure.

The Email Hosting product is different from a conventional managed mailbox service. It is a self-managed KVM VPS intended for customers who want to operate their own mail server. Pricing is €10.99 per month, although BitNinja is not currently exposed as a standalone orderable product inside the normal billing catalog.

Two additional infrastructure categories remain part of the Luxvps product system but currently have limited availability. Older product categories also include Intel and Ryzen Android emulator VPS services. These categories are no longer part of the normal active ordering path, making them legacy products rather than dependable current services.

Hosting companies can use the White-Label Reseller Program, which is separate from ordinary Plesk reseller hosting. 💰 Price & Cost

Luxvps is especially competitive at the lower end of the VPS market. Xeon KVM starts at €4.50 per month, Ryzen at €4.95, EPYC at €6.95 when stock is available, shared hosting at €2.95 and Plesk reseller hosting at €5.95. OpenClaw, n8n, SaaS and game-server deployments generally use these underlying VPS plans rather than adding a separate managed-service fee.

Longer VPS billing periods reduce the effective price. Ryzen, Xeon and EPYC servers receive approximately 5% discounts for three-month billing, 10% for six months and 15% for annual payment, with the discount continuing on subsequent renewals. Shared and Plesk reseller hosting use larger term discounts of around 10% quarterly, 15% semi-annually and 30% annually. Standard KVM services have no setup charge and remain available on monthly billing without a long minimum contract.

Payments are supported through PayPal, credit and debit cards through Stripe and cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency payments are arranged through support and can include Bitcoin, Litecoin, BNB on BSC, Monero, TRX and USDT on TRON. The infrastructure benefits from Tier III design, redundant N+1 UPS and generator systems, dual power paths, precision cooling, hot and cold aisle containment, biometric access controls, CCTV and continuously staffed physical security.

FR7 is an important network location for the platform and provides access to the Frankfurt connectivity ecosystem. Luxvps uses BGP routing and provides virtual machines with 1 Gbit connectivity, together with direct access to major interconnection infrastructure including DE-CIX. A dedicated IPv4 address is standard with VPS packages, while most current plans also include a /64 IPv6 allocation.

Network-level DDoS mitigation protects the main VPS ranges before unwanted traffic reaches the physical hosts. Current server products include 3.2 Tbit/s Premium DDoS Protection against volumetric, protocol and application-layer attacks. This operates independently from optional BitNinja protection, which adds security within the operating system and application layer.

Hardware differs between the individual VPS families. Ryzen VPS nodes use AMD Ryzen 9 5900X processors with 12 cores, 24 threads and clock speeds reaching 4.8 GHz. Xeon VPS nodes use Intel Xeon Gold or Xeon E5-2697 v2-class processors depending on the node. Shared and reseller hosting operate on AMD EPYC 7443P systems with 24 cores, 48 threads and DDR4-3200 ECC memory, while EPYC KVM uses dual AMD EPYC 7763 platforms. NVMe storage on the principal VPS products uses RAID-1.

Dedicated-server infrastructure has a different location reference from the current VPS environment. Luxvps places its main production infrastructure in Equinix FR5, FR7 and FR8, while its currently unavailable dedicated-server range lists Cogent FFM in Germany. Those dedicated systems also use SmartMitigate DDoS protection and can require up to seven business days for provisioning. Customers ordering from this range if inventory returns should confirm the current facility before deployment.

Luxvps targets 99.99% average uptime and 99.99% power availability, but standard services do not include a contractual 99.99% uptime guarantee. Services operate on a commercially reasonable-efforts basis unless a separate written SLA has been agreed. The same distinction applies to support response and resolution times.

Four automated backups are included with the main KVM plans, together with one-click restoration through the server-management interface. These backups are a useful convenience but should not replace an independent backup strategy. Backup completion, retention, completeness and successful restoration are not contractually guaranteed, so important production workloads should also maintain copies outside the Luxvps platform.

🔨 Control Panel

KVM customers use Luxvps's own server-management interface at control.luxvps.net. It provides normal virtual-server administration together with operating-system reinstallation, custom ISO handling, backup restoration and browser-based noVNC console access. The noVNC console is particularly useful when SSH access or guest network configuration has been broken because it provides direct access without depending on the operating system's network connection.

The VPS platform is deliberately flexible. Customers receive full root access, can reinstall supported operating-system templates, use custom kernels and deploy Docker or similar container workloads. Custom ISO installation expands the available operating-system choices beyond the standard templates, although nested virtualization remains disabled.

Shared Hosting uses Plesk for website, domain, database, email and SSL management. Reseller Hosting includes the Plesk Reseller interface, allowing customers to create and manage their own hosting accounts. There are also practical limitations. Luxvps remains a very small operation, with support largely handled by one person, while standard services have no contractual uptime or response-time SLA. Infrastructure is geographically concentrated in Frankfurt, so customers needing native multi-region redundancy will need another solution or an external secondary location. The four included backups are convenient but contractually non-guaranteed, making an independent backup strategy important for production workloads. EPYC, storage VPS and dedicated-server capacity can also be unavailable for extended periods.

For developers, technically capable small businesses, hosting resellers, game-server operators and self-managed application deployments, Luxvps offers an attractive combination of pricing, control and German infrastructure. Organizations that require multiple geographic regions, a large support organization or strict contractual availability guarantees should weigh those operational requirements more heavily than the low VPS pricing.
